Coronary health is an extremely important  thing to monitor.  You should be getting regular screenings and checkups, as well as taking all the necessary steps to keep your heart and cardiovascular system healthy.  Here are 5 tips to improve your coronary health.

Coronary health tip 3-  Learn your history.  How are you supposed to be on guard and fight something that you may not even know you are at risk for?  Take a few minutes to sit down with your parents, and discuss your families heart health history.  Knowing this information will help you and your doc plan course of prevention much more effectively.

Coronary health tip 4-  Exercise, even if only for a few minutes per day.  The goal is to get to 30 minutes per day, 5-6 days per week.  It is perfectly ok to break it up into 5-10 minute chunks through out the day, as long as you eventually get there.  This will help lower your risk of coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, as well as keep your weight down to a healthy number.

Coronary health tip 5-  Read your food labels.  It only takes 10 seconds and new labeling laws require labels to list trans fats.  If at all possible, avoid foods with trans fats, as these are unhealthy fats that will increase your cholesterol levels, which can then lead to heart disease.
